Accountant

Available in Lincoln, NE  

ALLPLAN is a world leader providing innovative software solutions to support architects, engineers, building contractors, and facility managers in the planning, construction, and management of buildings and infrastructure projects. 

We are looking for a high-performing Accountant to join our finance team, focused on accurate record-keeping, compliance with financial regulation, and critical month-end and quarter-end closing procedures.  

What You Will Do 

• Perform timely and accurate journal entries for monthly and annual financial statement closing process, including accruals, depreciation, and amortization. 

• Review and reconcile subsidiary ledgers and balance sheet accounts and assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing. 

• Investigate variances, ensure proper revenue and expense recognition, and assist with closing the accounting period on schedule 

• Assist in the creation and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts utilizing historical data, anticipated revenues, planned expenditures, and input from various departments 

• Prepare and process payroll, ensure accurate tax filings, and support compliance with regulatory requirements 

• Contribute to annual review, tax filings, and audit preparations as needed 

What We Need In You 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. 

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP). 

• Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel functions  

• Proven month-end close and budget forecasting experience. 

• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to communicate complex financial data clearly. 

• CPA or CMA certification is a plus
