Sterilization Technician (Located in Lincoln, NE)

Job Summary:

To perform technical duties in the maintenance and dispensing of supplies and equipment from a sterile area. To clean, wrap, and sterilize instruments/equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• High School education or GED
• 1 year experience in a medical/dental setting where use of steam autoclaves/ultrasonic cleaners were used
• Microsoft Outlook

Will consider one year related post high school education/experience

 

• Ability to run steam autoclaves, washers, ultrasonic cleaners

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant coursework/specialized training
• Training as a surgical technician, dental assistant or other job where experience can be attained to operate sterilization equipment, such as: steam autoclaves, industrial washers, ultrasonic cleaners
• Knowledge of dental instruments
